About UsThe Family Resource Centre is a non-profit organization which started in 1986. The centre offers a variety of programs and services FREE of charge to support the growth and development of all community members. One of the goals of the organization is to make the programs and services as accessible as possible by offering on site childcare and assistance with transportation. Some of the services and programs include support groups, adult education opportunities, beginners pre-school, programs for youth (ages 5-12), parenting programs, adult skill development opportunities, annual pre-primary program, home visiting program, advocacy and referrals, public health services, mental health workshops and many more. Please see under programs for a more detailed list.Our Mission To provide a safe, supportive friendly meeting place for parents and their children,while promoting a positive environment that encourages and supports the healthy growth and development of all family members. Please NoteWhen the schools in the area are closed due tothe weather, so too is Fairview Family Resource Centre. If in doubt, please contact the office at 443-9569. Peanut and Nut Free PolicyAt the Centre we strive to provide a peanut/nut free environment.
InformationHours of Operation We are open weekdays from 9 am to 4:30 pm Program registration starts at 9:30 am on the last Friday of each month. Registration must be done in person or by speaking to someone directly over the phone.

Donations Donations The Fairview Family Resource Centre / Parent ‘n Tot has been in operation since 1986, we have assisted many families and hope to continue for many years. Fairview Family Resource Centre is a non-profit organization and a recognized, registered charity. As such, we are able to offer tax receipts for any monetary donations. Volunteer Volunteering We routinely look for volunteers and board members. There are many volunteer opportunities at the centre and volunteers are important aspect to the centres operations. Please contact the Executive Director for more information.
